About the Position
The Executive Assistant is an essential part of the FiscalNote team who will serve as  the trusted sidekick to the CEO and CFO. The Executive Assistant ensures that their executives are always equipped to tackle their tireless daily schedules by coordinating meetings and travel, assisting in conference presentations, and conducting work-related time analysis. The Executive Assistant is unrelenting in creating and maintaining the ideal environment for the senior leaders to help organizations better manage their government risk. This position reports to the Chief of Staff.

About the Team
The Executive Office consists of the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer, their Chiefs of Staff, and their Executive Assistant. This is a tight knit team that oversees internal and external operations across departments throughout the company and our suite of products and services. This group works closely with senior leadership, our advisors, Board of Directors, and investors to ensure that we are aligned in all areas of our business. We are a global company and it’s the responsibility of the Executive Office to involve all necessary stakeholders.

About You
You bring consistency and stability to any organization. Adept at handling and frequently re-prioritizing a high volume of tasks, you keep an eagle’s eye across your domain. Always striving to find the most efficient way to complete tasks without sacrificing high work quality and/or results, you never leave loose ends untied. You are intimately aware of the responsibilities of those you work with, you can quickly and capably provide unfaltering support, oftentimes proactively addressing issues before they become problematic. You also understand the importance and need for confidentiality, and can be trusted to keep information in confidence. Deriving immense satisfaction from assisting others, you are confident that your support enables organizations to achieve excellence.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - 80,000 per year.

What To Expect In This Position

  • Schedule meetings and arrange travel for the CEO and CFO 
  • Take meeting minutes, maintain administrative databases, and log expenses (including conversion of foreign currency)
  • Handle research projects and organization for executives
  • Assist in preparation for Board meetings, executive meetings, and other meetings as needed
  • Promptly manage executive correspondence
  • Maintain awareness of executive duties and schedules
  • Interact directly with our Board and Investors
  • On occasion, work "on-call" based on executive hours and schedule 
  • Other duties and tasks, as assigned.

  • 2+ of experience simultaneously supporting several executive-level personnel
  • Experience coordinating travel, events, conferences on a national and global scale
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong process-oriented mentality, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Experience engaging with poise and professionalism among high-level personnel
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment
