Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: the metro areas of Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC.
The Senior Consultant, Enterprise Learning & Talent Development leads the implementation and strategic direction of Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) programs supporting the Information Technology division of the Bank. Consults closely with key stakeholders, associates, and management to create expert solutions for complex business needs. Guides projects to ensure effectiveness and alignment with overall business strategy and culture, and develops process enhancements to maximize results. Mentors and provides direction for less experienced associates in the work group.

Responsibilities
- Program Management - Leads the design and execution of Learning & Talent Development programs that aim to build associate skills and capabilities. Leverages data to evaluate trends and performs gap analysis, developing and implementing process improvements as necessary to optimize program effectiveness. Leads core project offerings to ensure success. Coordinates enterprise-wide programs with associates, leadership, and senior management.
- Program Development - Identifies business needs through consultation and analysis, and determines best approach for each function of the Bank. Supports evolution of L&TD programs by seeking out new knowledge on learning solution design and industry class concepts. Assists in program evaluation, including assessment of processes and results, to enable tactical alignment with Bank goals and objectives. This may include elements of change management.
- Business Strategy - Aids in aligning L&TD team efforts and programs with Bank and department goals. Guides programs to produce desired results and to enable strategic associate insight. Implements change management strategy and communication plan to minimize risks while maximizing benefits.
- Subject Expertise - Serves as subject matter expert on facilitation and of learning solutions. Participates in the creation and maintenance of core curriculum learning plans and resources. Supports specialized workshops and forums.
- Team Leadership - Mentors and trains team members. Utilizes expertise to provide guidance, feedback, and direction on complex matters. Assists in the communication of performance results and expected behaviors for success.
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Learning & Talent Development or Human Resources OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Learning & Talent Development or Human Resources
Preferred Area of Experience:
- Experience as a Learning Consultant or similar role, preferably within the IT sector
- Experience as a Learning Consultant or similar role within Financial Services
- Proficiency with e-learning software, LMS, and other educational technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Collect and analyze course evaluation data to improve training content and effectiveness
- Establish positive relationships with SMEs and other partners to ensure learning experiences are designed to improve customer outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of industry principles and practices
- Strong understanding of development models, tools and trends
