Overview

This is an on-site position requiring in-office presence 5 days per week in our Pasadena office.

The Operations Analyst position provides analytical support to the Direct Banking Operations team. Analyzes data related to operational processes, systems, or products to evaluate performance. Makes recommendations based on identified trends and areas of improvement. Facilitates the daily workflow by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and other activities that support efficient operations. Ensures that all processes, systems, or products are effectively functioning and serving the needs of Bank clients.

Responsibilities

• Operational Support - Provides information and answers to IRA Plan questions posed by Bank's personnel and clients. Provides information and answers to IRA Plan questions posed by Bank's personnel and clients. Assists in providing IRA plan information to the Training department and assists in training when necessary. Processes IRA transactions as required including 1099-R 5498 corrections. Processes annual IRA mailings as required by the IRS and the Bank.
• Analysis - Audits all IRA reports and transactions processed by the team. Audits year-end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance. Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis to monitor overall performance, tracking issues and identifying opportunities to improve existing processes.
• Business Proficiency - Keeps abreast of IRA Plan rules and regulations. Revises and maintains IRA procedures. Provides knowledge in area of work to associates and clients. Utilizes product, system, or process familiarity to resolve problems and handle client requests, as well as recommend enhancements to management.
• Documentation - Handles standard documentation associated with daily activities, which may include processing, reviewing, or creating materials. Ensures the accuracy and completeness of analysis reporting. May administer department databases or files.

• Working knowledge of IRA Plan rules and regulations.
• Experience processing IRA transactions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of Bank personnel, clients, and business associates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
