Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting the governance and oversight of the end-to-end Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within the organization. This role ensures that all system development projects and non-projects are compliant with established SDLC procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The associate will work closely with cross-functional teams across technology, risk management, audit, and development teams to maintain consistent, high-quality system development practices. The ideal candidate will possess a calm demeanor and the ability to approach challenges with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining SDLC governance frameworks, standards and procedures
- Monitor the system development lifecycle to ensure adherence to governance guidelines and best practices
- Monitor and track the progress of development projects and non-projects to ensure they are compliant with approved SDLC phases
- Conduct audits and reviews of SDLC processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
- Identify gaps or risks within SDLC and recommend improvements or mitigation strategies
- Work with compliance, risk and audit teams to ensure adherence to any external regulations or industry standards
- Prepare and present regular reports on SDLC governance activities, highlighting risks, compliance issues, and improvement opportunities
- Serve as a point of contact for governance related questions from the development or SDLC enablement teams
- Participate in risk assessments and exception consultations to ensure SDLC governance objectives are met or mitigated
- Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders regarding SDLC standards and procedures
- Source, compile, and interpret data. Will perform analysis on various datasets producing metrics and reporting for the combined bank
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
Preferred skills:
Strong understanding of SDLC processes, risk assessments, audit, and best practices. Experience with SDLC tools (JIRA, X-Ray, TestRay/synapseRT, and Azure DevOps). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and SharePoint.
Preferred Certifications: Certification in CGEIT

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $110,000 and $150,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
