Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patch Management Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the tracking, and implementation of software patches and updates across the organization's systems to ensure optimal security, performance, and compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with Patch Execution team and Application owners across the bank to help streamline patch management processes and maintain vulnerability compliance across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Patch Management Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute patch deployment across various systems and applications to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified vulnerabilities. Coordinate with software vendors, patching engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure patches are tested and deployed efficiently with minimal disruption.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document patch management requirements.
- Vulnerability Remediation: Develop and implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities based on risk and impact and execute the plans in partnership with patch deployment team. Assist in identifying critical patches, and prioritizing patching based on severity, impact, and other business requirements.
- Process Improvement: Review existing patch management processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, reporting and compliance. Document and enforce patching procedures and workflows.
- Project Management: Oversee patch deployment and other department initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of patch status across all systems, create dashboards and regular reports on patching progress, compliance levels, and remediation efforts.

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Familiarity with industry standards and methodologies (e.g., ITIL)
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with patch management tools, vulnerability assessment applications, and remediation techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
If hired in Arizona, the base pay for this position is generally between $93,000 and $137,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
