About the role?

Reporting to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, the QA Engineer will create and execute test cases to ensure the software products meet design specifications and product quality standards. The QA Engineer will test hands-on and follow established QA methodologies as well as being involved in other QA and project related activities.

This position requires a highly motivated individual that is comfortable with rapid changes in direction and a fluid environment. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented, approachable, dependable, and reliable with good business sense and judgment.

What you'll do:

  • Participate in the testing activities of the software to ensure the highest level of quality.
  • Write and execute test cases, scripts and scenarios.
  • Write moderately complex code/scripts to test systems.
  • Identify and report defects, work with development team to ensure defects are resolved, and verify fixes.
  • Create, maintain, or enhance existing test automation.
  • Provide project and resource estimates required for the quality assurance effort of assigned projects.
  • Work with other project team members to understand project requirements.
  • Establish cooperative relationships to work efficiently with co-workers, and participate as a member of a Quality Assurance team

What you'll need:

  • 1-3 years working as a QA software professional
  • Experience with web application testing
  • Experience using SQL Server and writing SQL queries
  • Experience with scripting or programming language(s)
  • Experience with test automation

Nice to have:

  • ISTQB Certification
