Your Role:

Work to enhance testing in our CI/CD pipelines by planning, designing, and execution of test cases for our software products.• Responsible for identifying and reporting defects, ensuring that all issues are documented and clearly communicated to the software teams for resolution. • Perform retesting and validation of resolved defects to confirm fixes are accurate and that no new issues have been introduced.• Maintains and improves automated testing procedures, ensuring they are accurate and modern to reflect revisions made to software and systems.• Plan, coordinate, and participate in code reviews to provide feedback on issues relating to testing with software development and systems teams at other global sites.• Work with the Security team to identify any vulnerabilities and revise any test cases as appropriate.

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, software tester, software developer, or other similar role.

• Proficiency in test frameworks (e.g. JUnit and gTest) test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, and JMeter) and scripting languages. (e.g. Bash, python, etc.).

• Strong communication skills (both written and oral) for effectively identifying, documenting, and resolving issues.

• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to design solutions for complex engineering problems.

• Must enjoy working in a creative and collaborative environment as part of a cross-functional project team.

Additional Background Preferences:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

• Experience with modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.

• Passion for working with cutting-edge technologies such as AI code/test generation tools (e.g. GitHub CoPilot)

• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, JIRA, and Confluence.

• Experience working with Linux operating system.

• Experience working with applications deployed in the public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience working in the Automotive industry with vehicle network systems.
