What will you contribute?
Working as part of the Marketing Center of Excellence Team, this role is valuable in the alignment, forecasting, and monitoring of the Marketing budget.
Reports to the Head of Marketing Center of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify financial status of the Marketing organization by monitoring and analysing actual results vs. plans and forecasts
- Provide accurate and relevant analysis and reporting of financial results of the Marketing organization against budget, forecast, plans, and recommend strategies for improvement to management
- Review and reconcile transactions through strong collaboration with Marketing Operations and Finance, ensuring accuracy of reporting
- Recommends action plans through the analysis and interpretation of financial data of the Marketing team, and provide comparative analyses and propose next steps
- Develop cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Increase productivity by developing automated financial reports and trackers, in collaboration with the Operations team
- Participate in the business process review and improvement with Management and recommends plans for better efficiency and performance
- Provide support in the the Purchase Request (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) cycle management of the Marketing team: check accuracy, raise, monitor, receipt, track
- Assist in vendor onboarding and management
Required Experience and Skills:
- Some knowledge of marketing, sales operations, field marketing, and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment with flawless execution; working collaboratively with cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.
- With 2-3 years experience being in a Marketing Operations Analyst role
- Strong qualitative and quantitave analysis and interpretation
- Some knowledge in using financial analysis techniques, tools and concepts
- Advanced knowledge in Excel formulas and reporting
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PPT, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with co-workers in different time zones
- Ability to work and solve problems under pressure
- Experience in a software, technology or finance firm is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
