Responsibilities

Overview: Finastra is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager who will play a critical role in shaping and running the organization's social impact initiatives including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

This role will be specifically responsible for driving the 'Social' pillar of the ESG, in addition to supporting the overall ESG efforts, including supporting Finastra's charitable donations program, employee engagement and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the firm's social impact initiatives and programs, including CSR initiatives such as community engagement and philanthropy
  • Monitor and evaluate CSR performance and impact using relevant frameworks, standards, and metrics
  • Remotely co-ordinate and communicate regularly with Finastra's international network of ESG site leads regarding participation and engagement in social impact initiatives, including employee volunteering and fundraising centered around social equity, financial inclusion and the environment
  • Contribute to ESG Executive committee and Board reporting by preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Engage with employees and stakeholders to raise awareness about Finastra's ESG initiatives, share best practices and ensure effective implementation of the organization's ESG programs
  • Stay informed about emerging ESG best practices, trends, regulations, and frameworks to provide recommendations and drive continuous improvement in Finastra's ESG practices
  • Lead the monthly global ESG All Hands meetings and several small group calls with the ESG site leads
  • Onboard new ESG site leads to the team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to succeed in their roles.
  • Develop and implement training programs, awareness campaigns, and other tools to enhance ESG knowledge and engagement.
  • Manage the program budget, ensuring expenses are tracked and kept within allocated limits.
  • Support ESG Leads with any issues they encounter, including with donation matching and volunteering hour reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree. Bachelors and/or Masters in related areas preferred
  • 5 years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in execution of complex global projects, including employee engagement campaigns
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and engage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong advocate for environmental, social equity, and financial inclusion initiatives
  • Highly organized
  • Previous experience with ESG and/ or CSR is highly desirable. Previous ESG volunteer experience or community involvement is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong management and collaboration skills
