The Role

  • Do you want to work at the intersection of asset management, wealth management, and retirement?
  • You will serve as the primary relationship manager for 10+ of Fidelity's strategic 3rd party asset manager relationships including traditional asset managers, ETF providers, and alternative investment providers.
  • You will set and implement the strategic priorities between Fidelity and 3rd party asset managers.
  • Through proactive outreach and a consulting engagement model, you will support long-lasting, positive relationships with Fidelity.
  • You will see your impact on the business and have rewarding interactions with asset manager clients every day.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Undergraduate degree. Advanced degree and/or CFA, CAIA, CIMA preferred
  • Experience working at a broker-dealer, custody, or other platform in a role maintaining relationships with asset managers
  • Deep asset management and investment product knowledge
  • Ability to influence others in a highly matrixed ecosystem
  • Ability to negotiate highly complex arrangements
  • Strong organizational and communication strategies
  • Effective communication and ability to influence internal and external partners
  • Ability to take initiative
  • PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce
  • FINRA Series 7 & 63 licensed
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deliver highly personalized service to each client
  • Ability to find success in a dynamic, deadline driven, and detailed environment
  • Ability to think creatively and be comfortable making decisions with the support of your team

The Team

The FundsNetwork (FNW) Asset Manager Services & Business Development team maintains relationships with over 700 asset managers whose investment products are distributed through various Fidelity distribution channels including Fidelity Institutional (FI), Workplace Investing (WI), and Personal Investing (PI).

Fidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
