Job Description:

Seeking an Account Executive (AE) who will successfully promote and sell Fidelity's health & welfare (H&W) administrative services in the ~2,500 and above participant segment. In addition to administrative services, this includes Voluntary Benefits, Reimbursement Accounts, Wellness Solutions (e.g., Digital Care Navigation), and the positioning of Workplace Consulting health & welfare capabilities.

THIS POSITION IS WORK FROM HOME/REMOTE LOCATION NATIONWIDE

The AE will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing strategies for selling the product to workplace customers
  • Managing internal and external relationships and qualifying sales leads on an ongoing basis
  • Identifying customer potential, understanding customer needs, presenting the product value proposition, and closing sales
  • Supporting the development and delivery of sales collateral, as well as translating feedback from the field to continuously improve the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts
  • Working with product management to demonstrate product capabilities and manage exception requests
  • Positioning Fidelity's other healthcare products including Health Savings Accounts

In the near term, focus is primarily on H&W sales to existing Fidelity retirement plan clients. Over the longer term, the candidate should possess the potential to engage in multi-product sales and to prospect externally.

The Expertise You Have

  • Deep knowledge of the H&W industry and the product and services landscape
  • Adept at developing and executing on a personal sales plan
  • Experience with closing enterprise sales in the national accounts market
  • A natural fit within Fidelity's culture of teamwork and ethics
  • Requires ~60-75% travel
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Must currently have or obtain insurance producer licenses for Group Life, Accident & Health and Property & Casualty (P&C) licenses for individual products within 120 days of hire

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Competency in the use of Salesforce.com and other tools for reporting and forecasting
