The Role

The Process Improvement position is part of Fidelity Charitable's Investment Operations Team. In this role, you will be a key member of our leadership team focused on leading initiatives to optimize our operational performance and drive continuous improvement across Investment Operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in maximizing technology to optimize processes, implementing best practices, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing our portfolio of operational efficiencies including, workflow analysis, conducting improvement assessments, designing improvement plans, tracking progress and communicating outcomes to senior leadership. You will also be responsible for managing our operational scorecard to strengthen our data-driven decisioning capabilities.   • Analyze current operational processes and workflows
  • Develop process and journey maps for existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and drive implementation of enhancements
  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of improvements and enhancements
  • Develop business requirements to introduce technology enhancements and automation into existing processes
  • Strong collaboration with technology and development teams in an agile environment to ensure successful implementation of process improvements
  • Oversee backlog planning, prioritization, and delivery plans for all operational efficiency efforts to ensure targeted focus on highest value efforts
  • Manage Investment Operations scorecard process - collaborate with peers to set performance metrics, monitor progress, and track alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop scorecard reporting routines to communicate organizational performance and progress of operational efficiency
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep the organization at the forefront of operational efficiency
  • Develop presentations, reports, and other materials for key stakeholders, including the senior leadership team
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously with varying levels of complexity
  • Supports the execution of functional and SDO strategic initiatives which improve our operational efficiency, team productivity and quality

The Experience and Skills You Bring

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in operations, strategy, process improvement, and business analysis
  • 3+ years in financial service operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing cross-functional teams and projects
  • Experience leading projects aimed at streamlining operational processes, reducing costs, and improving quality
  • Proven experience leading and transforming end-to-end process improvement; designing processes and defining success metrics
  • Professional experience in workflow management, process mapping, and documentation
  • Ability to see the big picture while navigating the details of execution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, adaptive and an experienced practitioner; with a growth mindset and superior collaboration skills
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
  • Project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Highly proficient in Tableau, Power BI, and other data visualization tools
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred
  • Proficient with Jira, Jira Align, or other work planning software
