The Role

Do you want to make a difference and be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to designing Wealth Advisor Solutions (WAS) products for the Fidelity Institutional (FI) business unit?

At FI, we're dedicated to helping financial advisors thrive by offering Client-Focused Expertise, Industry-Leading Financial Solutions, and Flexible Technology. You will work in partnership with a squad leader to support the WAS Squad and deliver new and evolving products and services.

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Platform Product Management who will blend deep knowledge of Product Management and Business Analysis skills, with the ability to drive business deliverables within the Product Development Life Cycle with a passion for empathizing with customers, defining the problem statement, generating solution ideas, collaborating, and seeing products come to life!

There are three primary principles of being an excellent Senior Manager in Product Solutions:

  • Strategy: Understanding the problem or the "why", and aligning it to the mission
  • Execution: This is where and how the work gets done
  • Business Readiness: How to drive your product to launch and support it post launch

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required, master's in business and or relevant technology leadership focus is significantly beneficial
  • 5+ years of experience working within a product management team passionate about delivery, technology, and software development. Proven analytical abilities and technical proficiency
  • Proficiency at all stages of the Product Delivery Lifecycle focusing on leading change to how we do business to bring a product from strategy to the marketplace
  • Ability to focus on and understand the customer experience end to end and identify pain points while working across the enterprise to communicate the epics and stories to the Agile team
  • Bring a voice of influence and impact to the team and interdependent teams by understanding the vision and highlighting multiple touch points to collaborate across teams and move towards the business goal with strong communication and navigating through sophisticated capabilities
  • Demonstrate a learning culture to advance skills and standards and approach the work with a constant learning curiosity to keep current and keep your team's skills current

The Team

We are Product Leaders who help define organizational needs, engage stakeholders, and deliver optimal client experiences by detailing the "ask" while educating on the options and capabilities offered. We also drive an executable strategy and ensure scalable and supportable solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join the Product Solutions chapter area and work on solutions to drive FI business forward. This area aligns with FI business partners in an Agile way!
