The Role
The Fidelity Private Shares team is growing and looking for a Sales Development Representative. The Team is focused on supporting the innovation economy through a robust equity administration platform. We offer solutions and capabilities that support companies, their employees, and community stakeholders during the entire corporate lifecycle. This role will be focused on supporting the growth and expansion of our business that services private companies and the start-up community.
We are looking for a talented individual that will be primarily responsible for prospecting and pursuing in-bound and outbound leads of prospective new capitalization table clients. Working in a team-based atmosphere, you will be responsible for identifying prospective leads in the venture capital ecosystem and prospecting venture-backed startups through thoughtful outreach. - Conduct high-volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
- Generate new business opportunities by setting up meetings/demos for Account Executives
- Achieve monthly quotes on meetings/demos/qualified opportunities scheduled
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM
- Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted campaigns and follow up on generated leads
The Expertise We're Looking for and The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in sales or customer-facing roles; Prior SaaS Sales or financial services experience a plus
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends a plus
