The Role
Do you want to be part of a growing Wealth Management Technology team that's developing and delivering solutions to meet the expanding performance and analytics needs of the Enterprise? We are looking for a motivated, analytical, and collaborative individual to join our team. As a key member of the Performance Measurement & Analysis (PMA) product area, the Investment Performance Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the technical implementation of performance capabilities, shaping the future of our product roadmap, and maximizing the value of our platform across the enterprise. You will partner closely with asset management, Fidelity's distribution channels, and the broader organization to deliver a diverse range of investment performance and analytics capabilities to meet the needs of retail, intermediary, and Institutional Clients. The Associate would assist with requirements and solution definition on sophisticated projects in our Technology Platform group. You will be responsible for working with the project sponsors and technology teams to capture and detail systems requirements and solutions for new products and major improvements to our offering in support of our clients.

The Expertise and Skills you bring
- 10+ years of proven systems analysis experience building complex data solutions in financial industry
- Deep understanding of portfolio investment Performance calculation and methodology
- Understanding of financial transaction processing on a large platform and ecosystems
- Experience authoring UML diagrams, creating solution design specification documents
- Works optimally in a highly matrixed environment involving multiple partners and technical groups.
- Expert in SQL and Stored Procedures on any relational database. Need to be able to write complex SQL queries (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake etc.). Exposure to Snowflake is preferred
- Must have outstanding analytical and communication skills.
- In-depth experience with creating system inter-relationship diagrams
- Expert in documenting Data Flow diagram for the existing system and designing Data Flow diagrams for the proposed new system.
- Be able to understand the product broadly to assess impacts across processes, platforms and systems
- Self-motivated with strong desire to learn and become a contributor to a highly functioning technical team.
- Ground-up analysis to deconstruct the existing capability and document it
- Develop high level and detailed design
- Work with Scrum master and the squad lead to understand the overall objective and the priorities
- Identify common patterns across capabilities and factor the same as part of high-level design
- Experience or understanding of the Agile software development methodology
- Works optimally in a highly matrixed environment involving multiple partners and technical groups.
- Ability to problem tackle in a demanding, sophisticated, fast paced environment.
- Has broad application/ technology fundamentals and is an accomplished contributor in two or more areas.
- Has the ability to effectively connect with the team and management both verbally and in writing.
- Has the ability to navigate organizationally in order to accomplish tasks.
- Has the ability to effectively manage project related tasks and issues.
The Team
The Performance Measurement & Analysis product area is part of Fidelity's Institutional Technology organization. We are responsible for a proprietary, enterprise-scale investment performance platform and contribute to several of Fidelity's rapidly growing business areas. We partner closely with investment product and digital experience teams focused on offerings for both institutional and retail clients.
