The Role
As the Leave of Absence and Accommodation Strategy Advisor, you play a critical role in shaping Fidelity's Leave and Accommodation programs. This includes defining, supporting, and continually improving these programs, which focus on federal leave and accommodation laws (i.e.: Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act and Amendments Act (ADAAA) and Pregnant Workers' Fairness Act (PWFA), state leave laws. In this individual contributor leadership position, you'll oversee our Leave of Absence vendor and serve as a strategic liaison for leadership while focusing on refining the leave and accommodation support strategy, aligning with company policies, and implementing programs to meet the needs of the firm. You'll also design and deliver training, metrics, reporting and communications to internal business partners and leadership.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Able to work at both a strategic and tactical level to support BU & HR initiatives. Must have strategic focus and ability to set long-term vision while providing the tactical support
- Able to prioritize and delegate tasks and responsibilities in partnership with the operations team, while balancing multiple process optimization initiatives
- In depth knowledge of federal leave and accommodation laws (i.e.: Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act and Amendments Act (ADAAA) and Pregnant Workers' Fairness Act (PWFA), state leave laws and programs, and overall integrated disability absence management
- Additional HR experience is preferred
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HR platform and talent management systems (Workday/ServiceNow)
- Proven talents in process improvement and measurements are a plus
- Experience managing various 3rd party vendors including annual planning and periodic vendor reviews.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to use data to describe and articulate business needs
- Ability to partner and work across Fidelity on various initiatives and projects, including with executive leadership
- Demonstrate understanding of macro level environment to assess and mitigate risk
- Excellent presentation development and delivery skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to take initiative and solve business problems through partnership and planning

The Team
As a member of the Fidelity Leave of Absence and Accommodations team, you will work within Enterprise Human Resources to support various business unit HR teams, associates and managers. The team offers centralized, and scalable solutions for firm wide HR needs. The Leave of Absence and Accommodations team works with internal policy and compliance stakeholders, as well as outside vendors in support of Fidelity's leave of absence and accommodations programs.
