The Role
The Fund Events Manager, FFIO Global Product Solutions (GPS) will support asset management, investment products and the distribution channels in the execution of portfolio launches, retirement plan conversions, mergers/liquidations, and product structure changes.
- Coordinate with internal and third-party business partners to provide timely, accurate delivery of operational components of fund events.
- Work across front-, middle-, and back-office functions
- Focus on improving the customer experience.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 5+ Years of experience preferred
- or equivalent
- Fund operations experience in one or more areas: accounting, valuation, custody
- General investment product knowledge including product pricing, investment structures, regulatory framework, and/or distribution
- Familiarity with portfolio transition management, security settlements, foreign markets
- Effective written and verbal communication

The Team
We are part of the Fund Administration unit within FFIO and collaborate with investment operations, trading, compliance, legal, and oversight teams across all Fidelity asset management divisions to bring new products and services to our customers. The FFIO GPS Fund Events Manager will join a team of 32 customer obsessed fund and investment operations leaders.
We strive to create innovative implementation and portfolio transition solutions for our business partners that result in positive outcomes for Fidelity investment products and clients. We foster a culture of quality while embracing pace over perfection when implementing new investment products and capabilities across the Fidelity ecosystem. Global Product Solutions teams view investment and operations challenges as opportunities and enjoy implementing client on-boarding and transition strategies that minimize portfolio disruption and transactions costs while enhancing the customer experience.
