As a Chapter Leader (Director, Software Engineering) in Wealth Solutions Engineering (WSE), you will bring expertise as an Engineering Thought Leader and partner to the Wealth Solutions Implementation Product Area. You will be supervising and leading teams of Software Engineers and Analysts, fostering a vibrant community of growth, development, and improvement across your Chapter. This multidimensional role is crucial to the development of customer-centric solutions founded on progressive engineering principles.

- 10+ years of functional experience in product management, technology and/or business, with a high level of agile, analytical, and mentoring skills.

- We build Front-end (Web/Mobile) and API based solutions with JavaScript / TypeScript stack including frameworks like Angular, NodeJS and GraphQL. Familiarity with Front end Experience development and related methodologies is highly desired.

- We build Enterprise Domain Web Services on Java based Dropwizard (LWC) and Micronaught (Java Keel) frameworks. Familiarity with building and supporting these Web Services is also highly desired.

- Good experience with cloud-computing and public cloud platforms like AWS.

- Proven leadership in driving engineering excellence, DevOps maturity and test-driven development.

- Proven experience in leading Product Support and Problem Management for technology applications and driving efficient Operations and Application Resiliency.

- Demonstrated leadership through empowerment of individuals/teams and must be someone who's eager to learn and teach every day.

- Bring a data driven & collaborative approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs.

- Proven track record, encouraging the creativity and innovation of your teams, crafting a culture of inclusion, experimentation, exploration, and continuous learning.

- Ability to optimally connect with, collaborate and influence all levels of the organization and motivate change.

The Value You Deliver - Progressive Engineering Leadership:

- Providing Engineering expertise, thought leadership and consulting in the Triad of Product Management, Engineering & Human-Centric Design - to Squads to ensure we are building the best products, platforms, and experiences functionally and technically.

- Work collaboratively with the squad leaders and architecture to prioritize technical efforts and provide input on product features and capabilities, while ensuring alignment with technology strategy.

- Drive scale & reuse by bringing to bear platforms and capabilities.

- Accelerate & increase efficiency by continuously improving engineering & operations practices.

- Responsible for Technical health and delivery of Software applications.

- Engage as a Subject Matter Expert, staying abreast of and contributing to external industry trends, advancements, and innovations in technical areas of expertise.

- Build and promote the vision, roadmap, and expectations for the software engineering chapter community.

- Define and implement a workforce plan to attract, hire, and retain top & diverse talent.

- Responsible for decision making across the Chapter on standards, resources, and overall direction of work through proactive partnership.

- Maintain and share knowledge and expertise on the evolving needs of customers, internal and external markets, and industry trends and changes across chapter community.

- Oversee, navigate, and lead Chapter members through organizational complexity in support of cross-domain and cross-product area work.

- Manage chapter members related talent reviews, performances, compensation, goal setting, development, and top talent recruitment practices.
