Job Description:
The Role
We're looking for a Director, Design Operations Strategy & Measurement team member to join our User Experience Design Operations team, to create a data driven culture in our 300+ person design organization.
In this role, you will establish clear value and direction for the UX organization by being a strategic connector to drive enterprise alignment around Design's mission and vision. This role focuses both on the associate experience, as well as measuring the impact of design in our products.
Some Key Responsibilities
- Empower customer experience teams with data-driven and actionable insights to enable objective, informed decisions
- Help optimize associate experiences that drive NPS
- Develop best-in-class expertise and resources in data analytics, research, and experimentation capabilities for the Team and for the larger organization.
- You will work on building scalable capabilities which will help the user experience organization measure a variety of KPIs faster.
- Proactive problem-solver who encourages open and positive discussions, effectively communicates ideas, and builds consensus among team members.
- You will design and package your recommendations, backed by storytelling, logical reasoning, and strong data insights, and present the same to partners and stakeholders.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10+ years of strategy, data analytics and operations/project management experience. Experience working with design teams a plus.
- You should be great at collaboration. Being able to build and establish strong cross-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels of an organization, will be key.
- You must be known for your data-driven mindset, analytical savviness, and ability to draw out insights by pushing hard on the 'so-what' & 'what-if.'
- Collaborating with other team leads to ensure a common vision & proactive communication, both, horizontally and vertically.
- Intellectual humility that allows you to see beyond cognitive biases and take in multiple perspectives
- A strong presenter and communicator that brings the future vision to life and motivates people to do outstanding work
- You understand at the core of a strong team is trust, adaptability and resilience.
Additional requirements specific to Director, Design Operations Strategy & Measurement
- Experience in customer experience measurement techniques, research & insights and advanced digital analytics
- Strong Problem solving and critical thinking - ability to sift through data to identify streamlined insights.
- Has effectively led large scale change initiatives, showing ability to be a motivator for change
- Strategic problem solver who can drive a data-driven future-state vision while delivering on near-term KPIs
- Experience with Qualtrics or other similar survey platforms
- Successful history of demonstrating strategic partnership and able to implement and show progress on priority initiatives
- Proven track record to adapt swiftly and effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments, taking initiative to drive projects forward, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions even with partial information.

This role supports Brokerage at Fidelity, a group that helps a wide array of customers with services like wealth management, retirement planning, brokerage services, workplace plan administration, college savings, and financial planning and engagement programs. This role also supports Fidelity's User Experience Design team, a group that delivers simple and accessible digital experiences to its customers!
