Job Title: Audit Sr Manager - Professional Practices - Fidelity Corporate Audit (FCA)

The Role

This individual contributor role in the Audit Professional Practices Group (PPG) will play an important role providing project management and executive communications support across a variety of workstreams and initiatives, working closely with senior leaders across the organization. Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Supporting the FMR LLC Audit Committee Meeting planning, coordination and execution activities. This includes the administration of the end-to-end process for the quarterly meetings, working in partnership with the Audit, Risk, and Compliance extended leadership and presenters from the broader Fidelity leadership team, the Board governance group and executive admin for the CAE. Specific responsibilities include the preparation of agendas, advance communications with key stakeholders, logistics planning, coordination and publishing of meeting materials, and onsite meeting administration (support for the Chief Auditor).
  • Providing executive presentation and preparation support for Chief Auditor meetings with senior business leaders, leveraging existing content, business insights and reporting (e.g., OneNote, QBR, Audit Committee presentations, dashboards) as an input to tailored executive briefings for the CAE.
  • Provide project management support for key initiatives in support of audit leadership including executive reporting, communications, and cross-department initiatives and events (e.g., Audit Town Hall meetings, SLT/ELT offsites, change management initiatives).

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Extensive experience in developing executive presentations and excellent presentation and communication skills combined with a strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with governance and/or senior executive forum support/management
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to project manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting team priorities as well as individual workload
  • Problem solver with strong business analysis and communications skills
  • Attention to detail, focus on data accuracy and information as an input to Executive presentations
  • Strong collaborator, adept at building relationships within and across organizational boundaries
  • Experience working with Audit, Risk, or Compliance related functions a plus, preferably in the financial services industry

The Team

The Audit Professional Practices Group (PPG) maintains Audit's methodology in accordance with IIA standards and leading practices for the internal audit profession. This includes developing policies and procedures to assist the department in delivering work that meets or exceeds the required standards, as measured through our QAIP. We support senior executive, board, and committee reporting, including the quarterly Audit Committee. We maintain and provide guidance on our systems, tools and data, and curate development resources to maintain our high-quality auditors and audits. PPG is also responsible for oversight and implementation of the annual risk assessment, business intelligence and audit insights reporting, workforce management, records retention compliance, and systems access.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$179,000 per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
