We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Engineer with a focus on Machine Vision and Fixed Industrial Scanning technologies to join our dynamic team.
You will take the technical lead in the pre-sales process and works with sales account managers to sell Machine Vision systems and Fixed Industrial Scanners for assigned partners, end-user account(s) and territory. This role you will need to be based in France or UK and need to have proficient level of French language.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and offering solutions tailored to our customers' unique requirements. You will develop and execute strategy into T&L and retail verticals .If you have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions, we encourage you to apply with your CV written in English.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at potential and existing customers/partners to understand their business challenges and requirements related to machine vision and fixed industrial scanning.
- Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for technical inquires and support in the pre-sales phase.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical support, create proposals, and close deals.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the best solutions for customers.
- Design comprehensive and customized solutions based on customer needs, that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical proposals, including system architecture, component selection, and integration plans.
- Work with product management and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and align with product capabilities.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations and live demonstrations to showcase our product capabilities and address customers inquiries
- Address technical questions and objections raised by prospective clients during presentations and demos.
- Contribute to the success of exhibitions and events by creating engaging product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations to showcase our solutions.
- Lead the development and execution of PoC and pilot projects to demonstrate solution effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful implementation and evaluation of PoCs.
- Gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to optimize solutions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience with Machine Vision-related products.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solutions/Sales Engineer specialized in machine vision/ fixed industrial scanning products
- Proficient knowledge of English and French languages
- Strong understanding of machine vision principles, algorithms, image processing, integration capabilities and applications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in preparing technical proposals and conducting product demonstrations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience from automotive industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of other European languages (Spanish, Italian) is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within and out of the country (50%)
