Manages the planning and coordination of enterprise-wide systems, applications, or infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares a variety of system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules
- Prepares and presents cross-functional project proposals to management and user departments
- Implements standards and documentation requirements
- Reviews current status of systems, applications and/or infrastructure and prepares recommendations for improvements
- Executes plans to analyze business problems that can be solved through automated systems
- Plans, manages and controls the activities of a team that provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems, applications or infrastructure that are cost effective and meet user requirements
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Works with internal and/or external customers applying a strong understanding of current business trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced Degree preferred
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in IT or equivalent discipline with at least 2 years of management/supervisory experience
- Experience managing professional staff
- Ability to manage budgets
- Ability to identify and manage process improvements
- Demonstrate interaction with subordinates, customers, and/or peer group managers; often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
- Demonstrates technical and management skills
