Job Description
As a valued contributor to our team, you will lead loan product initiatives that create or enhance mission impact, competitive advantage, risk position and responsiveness to the market. In this role you will engage with internal and external partners and manage stakeholders across Multifamily and be responsible for designing and implementing research and conducting data analysis to inform activities.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The MF COO - Product Development - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and enhancements of loan products to meet market needs.
- Collaborate with team to investigate and determine the needs of the internal and external (i.e., lenders and borrowers) customer.
- Interpret customer and market insights to inform initiatives and apply a customer experience-driven approach to design or enhancement of loan products.
- Advise internal teams on promoting and selling Fannie Mae's loan products and services to ensure that customers are knowledgeable about the full product suite.
- Review existing product suite and advise on feature updates as needed.
- Provide subject matter expertise, best practices, and recommendations to the team.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience communicating complex ideas and processes to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to effectively interact with multiple business units within the Multifamily organization, and strong customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated team player who has strong work ethic and demonstrates attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment with excellent management and business literacy skills.
- Aptitude to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Able to manage time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
- Sound analytical skills.
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Product management, project management, or strategic planning designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating requirements, executing on research plans, etc.
- Knowledge of multifamily real estate or mortgage finance.
- Multifamily acquisition and development experience is a plus.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems, manage data and create reports.
- Skilled in the graphical representation of information to tell a compelling story.
- Able to work with individuals having a different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal; including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
Tools
Skilled in Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with equity or debt portfolio management software/systems (e.g. Salesforce, Yardi) is a plus.
