The District Credit Manager is responsible for releasing tickets for accounts over their credit limit, processing credit applications, making collection calls, and traveling to customers to resolve past-due balances.

Responsibilities

• Process credit applications and approve lines of credit
• Foster strong business partnerships with key departments in the organization which includes Accounting, Operations, and Sales
• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers
• Resolve customer disputes
• Generate write-offs on accounts deemed uncollectible
• Approve account adjustments within established guidelines
• Review delinquency reports
• Correspond with attorneys on accounts placed for collection
• Customer visitation to resolve issues and foster new sales opportunities
• Travel to regional branches required with rare overnight stays

Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in collections and credit
• Sales and operations experience a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
