Our client, a leading manufacturer in the food industry, is seeking a QA Manager to join their team. As a QA Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting food safety and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Reno, NV

Pay Range: $95,000 - $120,000

What's the Job?

• Serve as the facility designee for Food Safety and Quality assurance programs, including HACCP and related systems.
• Lead and foster a food safety and quality culture at the facility, guiding HACCP, food safety, and quality teams.
• Develop, manage, and maintain food safety and quality assurance programs such as SOPs and sanitation verification.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage food safety and quality monitoring activities, ensuring alignment with program and regulatory requirements.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Quality Management, Microbiology, or a related field.
• A minimum of six years of experience in a food or related industry.
• Certification in HACCP or similar food safety systems preferred.
• Proven experience leading audits and managing food safety and quality systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
