Our client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Sacramento, California (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Pay Range: starting from $50.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Manage and oversee the delivery of multiple projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring timelines, documentation, and project governance are maintained.
• Enhance and standardize project management processes across the department, ensuring consistent and comprehensive documentation for all projects.
• Manage data collection and ensure proper reporting and documentation are in place for each project.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure effective project execution, particularly focusing on IT infrastructure, vendor product deployments, SDLC, and vendor management.
• Evaluate and recommend project management tools and methodologies that suit the team's needs.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in the public sector.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is required.
• Strong experience in Hybrid, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive project data collection effectively, ensuring accuracy and thorough documentation.
• Proven ability to adapt and streamline processes in a dynamic and evolving environment.
