As the Director of Strategy, you will report to Experian Health, and help us continue to build our business and chart-out our path for the future. You will ensure we make the right moves to meet our growth goals . You will conduct research, plus analysis, and identify our best markets and opportunities for expansion, to managing the strategic planning process through which we align the Health leadership team, with Experian's overall executive leadership, on our vision and strategic roadmap.

You will play a critical leadership role in the business - from leading strategy projects that help us identify promising markets for expansion to translating our view of the market and our top opportunities into a compelling strategy that forms the basis of our activities and investment priorities. In addition to helping define our strategy, You will also play a leadership role in ensuring that we make regular, measurable progress against our strategic roadmap and towards achieving our strategic ambitions.

You'll have opportunity to:

  • Structure and guide complex strategic projects for Experian Health - test and debate hypotheses, mobilize and lead teams, provide updates to executive leadership - to codify recommendations that will allow us to achieve our growth ambitions.
  • Perform in-depth analyses (e.g., market sizing, landscape mapping, channel assessment, segmentation, financial performance) using multiple quantitative and qualitative methods to generate business insights. Identify, gather, and assess internal and external data to drive those analyses.
  • Lead the annual strategic planning process for Experian Health, translate the main initiatives into our strategy scorecard, and ensure regular / measurable progress against our roadmap
  • Cascade our strategy, and roadmap to the broader organization.
  • Collaborate with executive partners across Experian Health and broader Experian
  • Develop relationships with important strategic vendors (e.g. strategy consulting firms, analyst firms, market data providers) and manage delivery of strategy projects that use services from these firms


Qualifications

  • Able to travel 30%
  • Healthcare and Consulting background required
  • Bachelor degree
  • 8+ years' experience in strategy consulting or corporate / business strategy, with specific experience in Healthcare / Healthcare IT or Consulting, and in strategy formulation and financial forecasting and modeling
  • Combine data into useful formats and bring applicable insights - straddling between details and higher-level possible effects of critical business issues
