Role Summary:
You will predominantly support the ongoing development and operations of the global finance strategic solution RDE (Revenue Decision Engine) working closely with Group Revenue Recognition team to ensure alignment with global policies.
As a Billing and Revenue global process expert you will coordinate projects and collaborate with regional businesses, Finance teams and IT specialists to enhance processes and solution and system capabilities aligned with global strategy and standards.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate closely with finance/business users and SMEs to understand and document the business billing and revenue requirements, ensuring alignment within and across existing global systems and processes.
- Make proposals about the best way to implement the business requirements and business processes, which include process documentation, strategy papers, white papers, gap analysis work and best practise guidance material as well as delivery of efficient solutions to meet the needs of the business.
- Translate business needs into actionable systems development whilst enforcing global standard operating procedures and applying a control mindset.
- Propose and document process and commercial standardisation that enables simpler automated solutions and processes. Help document best practices and ongoing support to the business on billing & revenue process and functionality.
- Participate in the global solution design, leveraging existing system capabilities and processes, maintaining global standards, and ensuring it is in compliance with relevant policies / legislation. Act as a champion for global solution standardisation
- Review and/or prepare and submit formal change requests via the PET Log process and Service Now, presenting and explaining such change requests to project Change Review Boards or other governance bodies as needed.
- Proactively monitor and report on RDE standards adoption metrics and support group and regional teams on remediation for areas of noncompliance. Continuously enrich and enhance the metrics for better insight.
- Support and coordinate with regional teams, business/finance users and management to prepare business cases, proposal options for project approval and funding, prioritising project objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the agreed global strategy and standards.
- Lead the monthly RDE Change Board, which involves presenting change requests, incident learnings and actions being taken to improve adoption of standard operating procedures.
- Help prepare appropriate project plans, and monitor/manage project or development milestones, prioritization, and progress to ensure timely project delivery, providing regular updates to management and key stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary to ensure prompt resolution to maintain / achieve project timelines.
- Ensure good project governance, maintaining project plans, documentation, records, and archives including formal sign off/approval of business requirements and, if appropriate, business case as well as user acceptance testing and approval(s) to move systems and enhancements into production
- Proactively recommend process improvements and automation opportunities, initiating actions or projects for continuous improvement

Experience and Skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in appropriate field of study
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification with proven project management experience would be a plus - Lean Six Sigma Certification would be a plus but not essential
- 3+ years' experience in billing/accounting and finance -related processes and projects within a large multi-national organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English), interpersonal skills and cross-cultural awareness as the role will be engaged with our global stakeholders
- Good experience in / understanding of key finance processes and concepts
- Flexible / able to work across different time zone whenever required.
