Summary
As a Billing Business Analyst - Integrations, you will provide support to the Global Finance Services (GFS) NA Billing group by defining requirements while also bringing in your vast knowledge of operational billing processes. You will meet with partners and users of the existing platforms to help define opportunities for improvement and a roadmap for future development. You will also support system integration and user acceptance testing and the implementation of new systems and functionality. You will help ensure best practices while transitioning activities between teams and regions by providing clear and well thought out recommendations. You will report to the Business Improvement Lead.
Main Responsibilities:
- Functional Expertise: Become an expert in Experian's billing platforms and capabilities.
- Requirement Analysis: Gather, analyze, document, and validate requirements through different methods.
- Process Improvement and Mapping: Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, including evaluating billing processes, uncovering areas for improvement, and designing process mapping for new projects, acquisitions, and billing improvement projects.
- Collaboration: Work with technical and diverse teams to design, test, and launch billing solutions, and implement end-to-end mapping and project requirements gathering.
- Standard Procedures and Training: Develop and deploy Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) within the Billing Organization, and implement training programs to inspire functional expertise and maximize staff effectiveness.
- Executive Communication: Communicate periodically with executive management regarding the status of current projects and obtain executive guidance and approval to promote plans.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of billing experience with knowledge of complex billing cycles, order management, and pricing.
- Data querying skills including Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, power query).
- Experience presenting business, project, and solution topics to audiences of different roles (including technical experts, project managers, and line of business leaders).
Ideal Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with an Accounting/Finance concentration.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business or ERP System.
- Experience working with multiple financial and reporting systems (Oracle OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Project).
