We’re looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to build functional systems that improve customer experience. In this role, you will drive the delivery of diverse development environments, including cloud infrastructure design, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure as code best practices.

Requirements

- 3+ years of hands-on DevOps background
- Skills in developing cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Code Deploy (AWS)
- Competency in automation/configuration management using Terraform, Ansible
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is mandatory)
- Proficiency in building automated code pipelines for cloud-based applications
- Experience with building and deploying containers (Kubernetes, ECS, Mesos)
- Ability to design and maintain deployment processes in large environments
- Practice in writing infrastructure code and following the GIT process
- Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
- A working understanding of code and script (Java, Python, Node JS)
- Overlap with US hours (CST) 3-4 hours/till 7 pm CET
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Kafka or Storm
- Competency in ELK or AppDynamics
- Strong experience with RDS/SQL, NoSQL databases
- Certifications in AWS; AWS DevOps certification
English level
Upper-Intermediate+
Responsibilities
- Build, automate, and manage environment builds, releases, and deployments
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines that follow git-flow process, perform automated testing
- Develop an automated pipeline with different deployment strategies
- Ensure Infrastructure and systems are compliant with security and SOC standards
- Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems
- Participate in Platform maintenance and releases for production and pre-production environment
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity tests by performing documented recovery procedures for the platform
