We’re looking for a bright, dynamic Senior Communications Executive with a passion for comms and education to join our fast-moving team of marcoms experts. You will support EVERFI’s communications offer across our business, including business development. The role involves the delivery of client communications proposals, and the development of our creative services communications offer.

You are an excellent communicator, a stickler for detail, brilliant at nurturing relationships and adapting to different types of campaigns. As with all of our team, you have a desire to make a positive impact in the educational world and the curiosity to seek out new ways to do so. As our Senior Communications Executive, you’ll be central in supporting the delivery and execution of multiple communications campaigns across a range of channels, including: PR, educator outreach, social media, media buying and events.
Our clients and sponsors range from global corporations to leading charities and government organisations, providing a diverse mix of communication campaigns within the education market. We love creativity, passion and drive, and we’d love to see you take the initiative to support and grow our comms business.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Communications Manager to create and implement communications strategies for a wide variety of clients, from corporates, to government and charities.
- Write Press Releases, features, thought leadership pieces, case studies and other articles for clients and on behalf of EVERFI
- Track and monitor campaigns and report back to clients
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communications campaigns to provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- Influencer Engagement - Engage with bloggers and education influencers to implement comms campaigns to maximise support and reach
- Influencer database – Identify and update our bank of influencers across different areas of education
- Research new online media opportunities – online magazines, newsletters to refresh master media list
- Attend client events and industry conferences
- Implement organic social media campaigns, developing a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of followers through Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
- Work with the Communications Manager to develop new business proposals
- Develop strong client relationships across key accounts and provide day to day client support
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task priorities and handle different projects efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Able to develop strong media relations - in person & virtual
- Collaborative team player
- Sound organisational skills
- Flexible, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
- Well organised and can manage own time against budgets
- Active in social media and interested in keeping up to date with trends in this area
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Education experience and passionate about working for excellence in education
- Experience in using web analytics and media monitoring tools such as Cision
- Manage own day to day workload for projects
- Manage company systems and processes
- Manage client communications and relationships
