Sr. Product Owner, Lead Flow Management

Overview

Join the Marketing Technology team and help manage the marketing qualified lead process. You will monitor the process across Salesforce, Distribution Engine, and Salesloft technologies. You will play a key role working with Marketing and Global Business Development to ensure lead processes are documented, streamlined, and supported across the organization. You will also work with Sales Operations, Marketing Technology, and Information Systems and Technology (IST) to ensure tech solutions are running properly and enabling users to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Distribution Engine and Salesloft. Determine the internal roadmap for capability enablement and organize the maintenance of existing capabilities with IST
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis
  • Evaluate gathered information, identify and reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract general understanding from low-level information, and distinguish wants from true needs
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with marketing, business, and technical teams to prioritize requirements, create as-is and to-be process models, evaluate potential solutions, define a proposed solution, propose quick fixes, and develop model business processes
  • Create and revise analysis artifacts and deliverables as needed such as gap analysis, business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, business rules, business process models, test cases, and user stories
  • Collaborate with other Business System Analysts for Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) as needed for quality assurance, integration, and acceptance testing

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience as a business analyst, product owner, or similar role
  • 2+ years within this must be direct experience in a Lead Management process improvement or Business Analyst role within business development
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, computer science, or related field
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and/or Salesloft technologies
  • Experience working within and understanding of sales development processes and workflows
  • Experience with marketing automation systems and marketing campaign best practices for lead generation and follow up
  • Process-driven analysis skills and background in various requirement discovery methods
  • Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements from various stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders
  • Proven experience in driving consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and leadership
  • Understand technical jargon and possess the ability to communicate it in informal language
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes
  • Familiarity with writing and executing test plans

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is

$72,800 - $135,200 USD
