About the Role

Product Owner, Data - GTM Space, will be responsible for shaping the data strategy and providing visionary insights within the Go-To-Market domain of BizTech. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage data for strategic decision-making, optimizing marketing and sales processes, and enhancing customer engagement through data-driven insights.

What the Candidate Will Do ----

  • Establish a long-term data strategy for the GTM space, informed by customer and business needs, and partner with leaders and stakeholders to drive alignment, secure resources, and overcome impediments.
  • Generate visionary insights from raw data to drive strategic decision-making, optimize GTM strategies, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports that provide clear and concise insights for various stakeholders.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across marketing, sales, customer success, and other departments to understand their data needs and translate them into visionary insights.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all GTM data initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems and integration with existing technology stacks.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Provide vision and direction for data-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Basic Qualifications ----

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data manipulation tools.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into data-driven insights and actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a data-focused role within the Go-To-Market (GTM) domain.
  • Expertise in big data analytics and advanced data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Knowledge of emerging data technologies and industry trends.
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining data governance frameworks.
  • Experience in leading data projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and data integration tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment among stakeholders.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year - USD$190,000 per year.
