What you'll do:
The Operations Manager utilizes clerical, administrative and operations data to ensure that property teams meet the short- and long-term goals associated with community business plans and budgets. This position ensures that objectives are met in an ethical and professional manner that complies with the company's policies and procedures. *Provide a positive experience and exceed the customers' expectations while on our property. Your job will include:
- Implement established short- and long-term business plans for assigned communities.
- Synthesize and analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure that properties meet defined performance objectives.
- Maintain a current knowledge of the physical condition and market position of each property, its customer base and employee performance.
- Produce monthly financial statements for each property.
- Implement community expansion and improvement programs.
- Oversee budget compliance, including the monitoring of operational variances.
Experience & skills you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in an operations position.
- Ability to analyze operations and initiate changes to improve property performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
