Role Overview:

Equinix is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our Global Customer Care and Experience (GCCX) team as a GCCX Communications Intern. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to support the GCCX Communications team in designing and delivering impactful communication strategies, change management initiatives, and internal engagement programs.

As a GCCX Communications Intern, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the GCCX organization to enhance internal & External communication efforts, improve processes, and support transformational projects. This role is ideal for someone interested in corporate communications, marketing, and organizational change management who is eager to develop skills in a dynamic, global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications Support (60%)

  • Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading internal & external communications, including newsletter articles, presentations, and emails.


  • Help design visually compelling communication materials, including graphics, templates, and presentations, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines.


  • Maintain and update internal communications platforms, such as intranet sites, content libraries, and resource centers.


  • Collaborate on creating and maintaining editorial calendars for GCCX communication initiatives.


  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies through feedback collection and data analysis.

Project Coordination (40%)

  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of key GCCX events, programs, and initiatives, including leadership meetings, GCCX all-employee meetings, and employee engagement activities.


  • Conduct research to benchmark best practices and provide insights for enhancing communication and change management strategies.


  • Provide administrative and logistical support for communication projects, including maintaining timelines, tracking progress, and preparing status updates.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Administration, or a related field (Graduating between December 2025-December 2026).


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).


  • Demonstrated interest in corporate communications, organizational change management, or employee engagement initiatives.


  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.


  • Self-starter with a creative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to learning and contributing.


  • Experience with social media, intranet platforms, or content management systems is a plus.


  • Experience with basic graphic design/ multimedia tools (e.g., Canva, iMovie) is a plus.
