Electrical Engineering

Complete knowledge and full understanding of area of specialization, principles and practices within a professional discipline. Assesses unusual circumstances and uses sophisticated analytical and problem solving techniques to identify cause. Resolves and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach. This job is the fully qualified, experienced professional, journey-level position.
主にデータセンタで行われる作業の中でUPSの更新やSTSの更新、液冷設備の構築などの難易度の高い仕事に対して、以下の内容を行います。
・計画
・システム設計
・システム構成変更管理のサポート
・システム保守のサポートやＭＯＰ（Method of Prociduer）の確認
・システムや作業員の安全の確認を行う
PPMチームと連携しIBX 施設の建設プロジェクトまたは運用の提供のいずれかについて、日常業務の計画と指示、および戦略的提供の指示を支援します。
Responsibilities
- プロジェクトやその他の設計およびエンジニアリングの取り組みの主導と管理を支援
- プロジェクトやその他の設計およびエンジニアリングの取り組みが会社の期待を満たしている確認
- エンジニアリング システムの複雑なメンテナンスと修理、交換を計画
- Equinix のプロセスと手順に関する知識を適用して、非定型的な問題を解決 (つまり、機器の設定がどのように標準化されたかの歴史的背景を理解し、設定の変更が必要な問題が発生したときに設定の変更を推奨します)
- エキスパート レベルで安全な作業手順を活用 (例: ロックアウト/タグ アウトの手順を適用できる、MSDS を説明できるなど)
- Vendorからの安全作業手順や作業計画書を評価し実行
- Capacity管理としてIBXチームと協力して、電力と冷却の制限を特定し、制限を克服するためのソリューションを開発
Qualifications
- 最低 5 年以上のデータセンタでの実務経験者。または 5 年以上の電気設備関連業務を経験されている方。実務経験のない場合、同等の公的資格（電検3 種、エネルギー管理士など）あるいは公的な重要施設での業務経験（5年以上）を有する事
- 英語力：日常会話ができる程度の能力があれば望ましい
- 日本語力：流暢
