Title: Business Development Marketing Manager
Location: Hybrid, Chicago IL
Job Summary
The Business Development Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting EPIC’s Transportation & Logistics Sales/Producer Division. The T&L Practice is a leading provider of Professional Liability Insurance, Cargo Insurance, U.S. Customs Bonds, and other products tailored to the transportation industry. They understand the complex needs and unique risks facing companies in this fast-moving, ever-changing niche.
Responsibilities
- Direct, plan and organize internal/external meetings
- Coordinate and execute EPIC’s presence at their national industry conferences (secure booths and collateral, book hotels, register EPIC attendees, buy/distribute EPIC swag etc. plus additional items.
- Work with EPIC Management team to deliver industry updates, interviews, and marketing materials based on current events
- Organize and streamline applications and proposals for business development team
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all promotional materials
- Consolidate and maintain industry contact lists
- Maintain current and relevant knowledge of the insurance marketplace and act as an internal market resource and liaison
- Create and produce engaging content for different platforms including social media (LinkedIn), websites and print materials.
- Develop and implement an integrated client outreach strategy

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- 3 + years of experience in marketing or communications required. Experience working at an insurance carrier or brokerage is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus.

The national average salary for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
