Software Test Automation Engineer

We seek a skilled Software Test Automation Engineerto join our team.
In this role, you will work on validating high-performance storage solutions designed for HPC and AI markets. The ideal candidate must have a strong track record of designing, implementing, debugging, and conducting automated and manual software-based tests in a Linux environment using shell tools and scripts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated and manual test cases to ensure product features are validated
  • Execute tests as required, verifying product fixes and functionality
  • Collaborate with the Engineering manager and a geographically distributed team to comprehend product demands and features
  • Manage daily triage of test failures
  • Provide contributions to QA reports and input on release metrics
  • Participate in validating product documentation

  • Proficiency in working within Linux environments and shell script languages; Bash expertise highly desirable
  • Background in enterprise-class or HPC storage solutions and/or distributed systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering error-free outputs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to function effectively as part of a team
  • Superior time management skills capable of multitasking and working under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of Parallel File Systems, particularly Lustre highly preferred
  • Familiarity with git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Gerrit
