Responsibilities

  • Design and develop a range of test cases, both automated and manual to ensure product features meet specifications
  • Execute automated and manual tests to confirm product functionality and defect fixes
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and a geographically spread team to comprehend product requirements and features
  • Daily triage of test failures to identify and address issues promptly
  • Participate in the creation of QA reports and contribute insights on release metrics
  • Support the enhancement and validation of product documentation

  • Background in working within Linux environments paired with proficiency in shell scripts including Bash
  • Experience in enterprise-class or HPC storage systems or distributed systems
  • Commitment to producing high quality and error-free deliverables
  • Proficiency in team collaboration with excellent communication skills and capability to initiate tasks independently
  • Flexibility to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of Parallel File Systems, particularly Lustre which is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with git, JIRA, Jenkins and Gerrit
Nice to have
  • Competency in Python is beneficial
