Senior System Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator with a strong background in server administration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows servers to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Configure and manage Samba services for seamless file sharing between Unix/Linux and Windows systems
• Design and maintain network infrastructure to support High-Performance Computing operations, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Optimize system configurations and performance through resource allocation and load balancing
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data, including access controls and encryption
• Provide technical support to users, assisting with system access, software installation, and troubleshooting
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

• Proven experience in Linux and Windows server administration
• Expertise in Samba configuration and management
• Strong knowledge of network administration, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Experience with High-Performance Computing systems and environments
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technologies
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• English proficiency at a professional level

• Knowledge of storage solutions and file systems used in High-Performance Computing environments
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation
• Understanding of security best practices in High-Performance Computing environments
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting of High-Performance Computing systems
