We are seeking a Senior System Engineer to design and manage Jenkins pipelines for deploying web and ETL applications into Kubernetes. This role also includes maintaining infrastructure on Oracle Cloud (OCI) to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key tasks will include creating new CI/CD pipelines for microservices, provisioning infrastructure resources as required, and configuring Kubernetes components such as ConfigMaps, Ingresses, and other necessary resources.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for deploying web and ETL microservices into Kubernetes environments
- Set up and configure infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring that all necessary resources are provisioned and optimized for application deployments
- Create and manage Kubernetes configurations, including ConfigMaps, Ingresses, and other resources to ensure proper service connectivity and security
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD processes into the microservice lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployment and efficient release cycles
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment pipelines and infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and performance of applications in the cloud
- Proactively manage resource scaling, order new infrastructure resources as needed, and optimize cloud costs for efficient resource usage
- Resolve any infrastructure-related issues promptly, including network, resource allocation, or configuration problems, to maintain seamless operation and minimize downtime

- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for web and ETL applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, configuring, and managing microservices within Kubernetes clusters
- Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud providers, including provisioning, managing, and optimizing cloud resources
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes configurations, such as ConfigMaps, Ingresses, Secrets, and related resources
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent service delivery
- Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture and best practices for deployment and scaling
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and address deployment, infrastructure, or performance issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy to automate tasks and configure deployments
