Responsibilities
- Play a key role in our Belgium business by leading the implementation of Architecture solutions from establishing project requirements and goals, to solution "go-live", across different industry sectors
- Use your experience as a hands-on technologist to demonstrate strong credibility in aligning closely with EPAM's wider leadership teams to help shape the business/technology/strategic direction and footprint across client projects with varying degrees of maturity
- Find the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility and long-term sustainability
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams including architecture, technology consulting, delivery management, product management and development teams across different geographies
- Provide technical governance, architectural review, audit, architectural road-mapping and proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements
- Create and present POCs, architecture proposals as well as provide pre-sales and RFP support within the framework of a technology consultancy
- Direct our technology consultancy efforts in pre-sales pursuits, create and present architecture proposals and proof-of-concepts as required
- Lead wider team members providing them with guidance and direction to grow and thrive
- Represent EPAM at internal and external conferences, enhancing our visibility and thought leadership in the region
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or relevant work experience)
- Fluent English speaker as well as either Dutch or French
- Proven experience acting as a hands-on Senior Solution Architect with a strong foundation in software development, platform delivery, architecture design, digital transformation and comfortable partnering with teams up to CxO level
- Experience in a one or two industry sectors (Retail or Insurance being a strong advantage) with excellent understanding of major functional capabilities and common platform solutions across those sectors
- Experience with Microservice based architecture, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology as well as leveraging native Cloud services
- Able to act as a SME to link technology with business value for large-scale complex transformation projects whilst guiding clients through the right technology choices suitable to their short and long term goals for the ultimate success of their business
- Strong experience in managing and leading teams of experts in architecture, technology consulting and design engagements
- Pre-sales experience with the ability to act in an advisory capacity to senior level client management whilst executing and leading on rapid conceptual designs, proof-of-concepts and client presentations
