We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior HIL Test Automation Engineer to build a greenfield solution for the automotive industry.
As a Hardware In the Loop Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for testing embedded control systems and microcontrollers, ensuring first-class quality in the process.
In this role, you will gain real production experience in Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing and enjoy close collaboration with the customer's team.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Kazakhstan, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Astana, Almaty or Karaganda.

Responsibilities
- Design test cases for embedded control systems and microcontrollers
- Ensure the execution of automated tests
- Develop and maintain test code for embedded systems
- Communicate with the customer on a daily basis to understand requirements and provide updates
- Analyze and report test results
- Adhere to customer-defined scope, guidelines, and deadlines

- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Technical background with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience with test automation
- Proficiency in Python or C language
- Knowledge of hardware-related processes, including environment installation, tuning, and firmware dependencies
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn quickly and independently
- Ability to learn new domains from scratch, particularly in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- A team player attitude
- B2+ English level proficiency
- Agile experience and familiarity with V-Model development
- Previous experience in offshore programming
