Senior HIL Test Automation Engineer

Zestap’oni, Georgia

We are seeking a forward-thinking Senior HIL Test Automation Engineer to build a greenfield solution for the automotive industry. As a Hardware In the Loop Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for testing embedded control systems and microcontrollers, ensuring first-class quality in the process.
In this role, you will gain real production experience in Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing and enjoy close collaboration with the customer's team.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, a well-equipped office in Tbilisi or coworking spaces in Batumi and Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Design test cases for embedded control systems and microcontrollers
  • Ensure the execution of automated tests
  • Develop and maintain test code for embedded systems
  • Communicate with the customer on a daily basis to understand requirements and provide updates
  • Analyze and report test results
  • Adhere to customer-defined scope, guidelines, and deadlines

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Technical background with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Experience with test automation
  • Proficiency in Python or C language
  • Knowledge of hardware-related processes, including environment installation, tuning, and firmware dependencies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn quickly and independently
  • Ability to learn new domains from scratch, particularly in the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • A team player attitude
  • B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
  • Agile experience and familiarity with V-Model development
  • Previous experience in offshore programming
