We are in search of a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Security and Infrastructure (CSI) team.
In this role, you will manage the design and implementation of our cloud security architecture and infrastructure management. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the identity, branding, compliance, and streamlined management of our extensive cloud-based products. You will oversee the strategic planning and execution of our technical stack and systems, aiming to optimize and fortify our cloud solutions.

  • Manage the development and enhancement of security measures and infrastructure for cloud services
  • Architect and manage APIs and web portals for advanced product interfacing
  • Direct the integration and administration of cloud services including Kubernetes, API & Services, MySQL, Datastore, Big Query, and Pub/Sub topics
  • Champion advanced scripting for the automation and robust management of cloud solutions, using Python or PowerShell
  • Implement and enforce advanced SRE practices, including SLA, SLI, SLO, RCA
  • Oversee the management of Linux-based systems and server environments
  • Direct the monitoring and alerting frameworks on GCP or Azure
  • Drive the scaling and optimization of distributed systems and comprehensive cloud deployments
  • Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Liaise with cross-functional leadership teams to ensure aligned product success and strategic goal setting
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working in cloud engineering or related fields
  • Deep proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker
  • Extensive capability to administer and operate complex Linux environments
  • Strong background in advanced scripting with Python or PowerShell
  • Expert-level expertise in monitoring and alerting on Azure or GCP
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Kubernetes, MySQL, Datastore, Big Query, and Pub/Sub topics
  • Mastery in SRE practices including SLA, SLI, SLO, and RCA
  • Strong understanding of PHP, JavaScript, Angular, Python, and Golang
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both GCP and Azure environments effectively
  • Prior experience with Apache Kafka
  • Proficiency in additional scripting languages
