We are seeking a Senior Accessibility Consultant to join our team.
This individual will play a crucial role in enhancing growth and user engagement by optimizing the accessibility of our software applications. By consulting on accessible design practices and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Accessibility Consultant will help integrate user feedback into our development processes, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of accessibility.

Responsibilities
- Perform accessibility assessment of design mockups and wireframes developed by the UI/UX team
- Develop and review accessibility documentation
- Proactively consult the team on accessibility integration and support process transformation
- Provide recommendations for fixing accessibility issues
- Consult and review development specifications and design mockups for ADA compliance
- Supervise the accessibility testing team and conduct accessibility reviews when possible
- Communicate accessibility-related points to clients and internal stakeholders

- 3+ years of experience in accessibility consulting, testing, specification, and requirements development
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, with a strong understanding of accessibility-related points
- Deep knowledge of WCAG (2.0, 2.1+) and Section 508 requirements
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and the integration of accessibility
- Background in developing accessibility specifications, policies, guidelines, and support documentation
- Experience creating test cases, checklists, test scenarios, audit reports, and VPAT or customer reports
- Expertise in performing accessibility testing and audits for desktop and mobile applications, providing remediation recommendations
- Working knowledge of assistive technologies (NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack, VoiceOver), bug tracking (JIRA), test tracking systems, developer tools (Chrome Dev Tools), and automatic tools and code validators (Axe, Wave, validator.w3.org)
- Capability to work with development teams to create accessible functionality and provide alternative solutions
- Experience working in scrum on large projects with distributed teams is a plus
- Skills in leading, coordinating, and supervising testers during audits or product analysis
- Competency in estimating efforts required for accessibility testing, auditing, and analytics
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher)
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Familiarity with DQ DevTools
