We are excited to offer an interim People Operations Specialist role for a 2-year contract based in Prague with occasional travel to Slovakia.
The ideal candidate will be integral in enhancing our personnel programs and practices to support EPAM's growth in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This role requires a dynamic individual with experience in people management who can work flexibly and collaborate across departments to meet business needs.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for employees in the Czech Republic
- Manage smooth onboarding processes for local and relocated employees in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
- Administer employee benefits programs including payroll integration and vendor communications
- Provide consultancy and support for new employees, and organize adaptation programs such as inductions and buddy programs
- Collaborate with the talent mobility team in managing relocations and international assignments
- Offer ad hoc document preparation and employee support as needed
- Act as a subject matter expert in labor regulations and employment law
- Ensure cohesive operation across departments including talent acquisition, office management, and IT support
- Support other People Team members in secondary responsibilities like events management and employee motivation
- Establish trusted relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Advise managers on handling personnel challenges and fostering EPAM's workplace culture
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with employees while managing HR processes effectively

- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a People Operations role
- Backgrounds in technology or similar progressive sectors are preferred
- Experience in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment desired
- Solid knowledge of Czech employment rules and regulations, familiarity with Slovak Labour law is an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and capability to adapt to new technologies
- Higher degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluency in Czech and proficient in English, both written and spoken
- Energetic with a positive and solution-focused attitude
- Ability to establish trust and rapport quickly
- Responsive and client-centered with empathetic communication
