Responsibilities

  • During the training
  • Actively participate in the 9-week formal education program
  • Receive training and mentoring by an EPAM Engineer
  • Engage in hands-on workshops, Cloud basics, Linux intermediate level training, Shell scripting, and Networking
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies
  • Upon successful completion of the program, you will be given the opportunity to join EPAM in a full-time engineering position
  • After the Training
  • Provide support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions, and APIs including Google Compute Engine and related services
  • Provide technical assistance and support as part of a global 24x5-support organization
  • Work closely with Engineers and Product Managers to improve the product and make our customers successful
  • Handle change requests and incident ticket handling for the remaining Infrastructure Teams - Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management
  • Provide technical and developer support to customers using Cloud Platform products, solutions, and APIs
  • Follow notification and escalation procedures
  • Adhere to standards for communications with businesses involving operational issues

  • English proficiency level from B2 and higher
  • IT or Computer Science related bachelor's degree, can be recently graduated
  • Basic networking knowledge, including protocols, services such as DNS and SSL, commonly used ports, etc
  • Linux knowledge, familiarity with command line and simple configurations and troubleshooting
  • Docker Containerization fundamentals knowledge, experience with creating and managing containers
  • Solid coding and/or scripting (Python, Bash, Typescript, etc.); ability to write simple solutions, read and understand code
  • CI/CD understanding and fundamentals knowledge, experience creating simple pipelines (Jenkins, Git, release approaches, etc.)
  • Database general knowledge (type of DB, DBMS, SQL basic)
  • Configuration Management understanding and basic Ansible knowledge, experience with creating and managing playbook, roles, tasks, modules, etc
  • Cloud Computing (AWS or Azure) fundamentals knowledge, and experience with creation of simple configurations of cloud infrastructure. Any Cloud Certification will be a plus
