Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to elevate team expertise
  • Lead well-defined, complex projects to improve existing systems and processes
  • Monitor and optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
  • Conduct thorough tests and debugging to maintain high-quality coding standards
  • Integrate various APIs to enhance functionality across the business unit
  • Solve business problems at project level by providing innovative solutions
  • Create modular, testable, and observable software systems within established SLA frameworks
  • Continually update technical knowledge and skills by tracking advancements in iOS development
Requirements
  • Qualifications in computer science or related fields, with 3+ years of experience for Bachelors or 2+ years for Masters
  • Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI
  • Background in Objective-C, iOS SDK
  • Competency in API integration
  • Expertise in performance and memory management techniques
  • Skills in using Xcode as the primary IDE
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools for iOS apps
  • Experience maintaining software projects in production environments: bug fixing, troubleshooting, monitoring
  • Understanding of how different systems and teams interact within the company
  • Capability to lead multiple product development initiatives simultaneously
  • Flexibility to adapt design and functionality as per ever-evolving project needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor less-experienced team members
  • Demonstrated ability to develop complex software applications and ensure they meet design requirements
  • Showcase of previous projects where leadership and technical skills significantly contributed to the project's success
