Middle Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Middle Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Security and Infrastructure (CSI) team.
In this role, you will be pivotal in enabling identity, branding, compliance, and ensuring efficient management of our cloud-based products. This involves comprehensive management and maintenance of our tech stack and systems to enhance our cloud solutions.

• Maintain and enhance security measures and infrastructure for cloud services
• Develop and manage APIs and web portals for product interfacing
• Integrate and administer cloud services including Kubernetes, API & Services, MySQL, Datastore, Big Query, and Pub/Sub topics
• Enable scripting for automation and management of cloud solutions, using Python or PowerShell
• Implement and uphold SRE practices, including SLA, SLI, SLO, RCA
• Manage Linux based systems and server environments
• Oversee the monitoring and alerting frameworks on GCP or Azure
• Contribute to the scaling and optimization of distributed systems and cloud deployments
• Facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for aligned product success

• 2+ years of experience working in cloud engineering or related fields
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker
• Capability to administer and operate Linux environments
• Background in scripting with Python or PowerShell
• Expertise in monitoring, alerting on Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Kubernetes, MySQL, Datastore, Big Query, and Pub/Sub topics
• Familiarity with SRE practices including SLA, SLI, SLO, and RCA
• Understanding of PHP, JavaScript, Angular, Python, and Golang

• Flexibility to manage both GCP and Azure environments
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Proficiency in additional scripting languages
• Prior experience with RESTful APIs
